So, which gacha games just dump stamina on you? Looking for something I can sit and actually play through for a while, not just short bursts each day.
Langrisser mobile is crazy with this. I’ve got thousands of stamina items just sitting there. Been playing for years, and they keep giving more recovery items than I can even use. anyone know other games like this, where stamina basically doesn’t matter because they give you so much or they just don’t have that stamina system at all?

Stamina overflow drives me nuts. Starting a new gacha and getting flooded with stamina makes me feel like I have to grind for hours just to stay under cap. It ends up pushing me to no-life the game on day one. Ive uninstalled a few lately because that day-one stamina dump turned a side game into a chore. Id rather have a steady trickle so I can plan sessions, not panic-farm for eight hours just to avoid wasting it.
Unlimited stamina sounds good until you’re grinding all weekend. I blew through like 50 apples in FGO and now I can’t even look at the game if you want something chill, Monster Strike lets you do guest runs without stamina
Girls’ Frontline is good if you want F2P with no stamina limits. You can grind maps as much as you want for resources. The corpse dragging gets pretty repetitive though.
Stamina-free games definitely have more guild chat activity. Back in Dragalia Lost, we’d run 16-hour raid marathons since everyone could play whenever. The social side is different when the whole guild can grind together. With stamina systems, everyone’s on different schedules, so you’re rarely all online at once
Quick note on Another Eden: bonus dungeon keys dont stack forever-they cap (often 99). Theres no classic stamina bar. Keys gate the big-reward runs, and story/exploration arent locked.
New players think unlimited stamina means unlimited gameplay. Nah. They just moved the bottlenecks somewhere else. Remember when people celebrated stamina removal?
Now we’re drowning in different currencies and time-gated materials. The drop rates these days are just insulting - worse than any casino I’ve seen. At least the old systems told you straight up when to stop playing.
yeah stamina might as well not exist in gbf anymore got like 500+ pots that I’ll never use. just auto-repeat all day now
Yeah GBF throws way too many stamina pots at you. Got thousands sitting there. Once stamina isn’t an issue anymore you can grind nonstop. Game turns into GrindBlue Fantasy real quick lol. Nothing stopping you from farming all day except your own sanity.
For me, no-stamina setups push me into endless grinding. I play way too long and burn out. With limits, I take breaks and come back later.
I mostly stick to Azur Lane and Blue Archive when I want something relaxed. Once you get going in AL the oil doesn’t feel as tight anymore. Blue Archive is nice cause during events they give you tons of AP drinks. I’ll burn through them on a Sunday then basically just do dailies the rest of the week.
Princess Connect’s another one - between all the skip tickets and free stamina from timed claims and events, you can play pretty casually without feeling like you’re missing out.
I’ve been trying out Wizardry Variants Daphne today.
It doesn’t have a stamina system (not that I’ve seen so far anyway) so you can grind away for exp but (for example) every two hours you get a gem that lets you revive when your MC dies.
So there’s a time gate there if you let your character die but I’ve been able to play for the last couple of hours quite happily by tanking for him and healing.
Even if you do die it just kicks you out of the dungeon and you can go back in.
Yeah those no-stamina games can get pretty intense. I tried Last Cloudia and was playing like 6-7 hours a day just farming materials. Romancing Saga is the same deal. Without stamina to stop you, it’s easy to lose track of time and suddenly realize you’ve been grinding the same stage for 3 hours straight.
GBF definitely. And yeah, late game Genshin becomes a chore. Artifact farming sucks and after a while you’re just logging in for dailies. 3 years of this and I’m still doing it for some reason. At least GBF lets you auto everything. Sure my crew complains when I’m AFK during guild wars but that’s the whole point of auto-battle isn’t it?
Oh god, GBF. I had spreadsheets. For everything. 8+ hours daily just grinding rotations and I was still behind on content. Got to the point where I was damage capping Arcarum normal mode on full auto because why not improve literal faceroll content?
I mostly play Granblue Fantasy and Romancing SaGa Re;univerSe these days. The gacha rates are rough and I’ve definitely spent more than I should have. But yeah, I keep coming back for the pulls. It’s addictive even when you know the odds suck.
Really, stamina systems don’t really matter when every game gates you somehow.
Like in FEH, I have thousands of stamina pots sitting there but the event point caps stop me way before I’d ever use them. Or take Nikke, no stamina but you hit those daily sim room limits anyway. Langrisser has tons of recovery items, but you still get blocked by Bond World attempts or Secret World sweeps.
Maybe I just suck at resource management, but it feels like every gacha limits your progress one way or another. Stamina, daily caps, event ceilings, pick your poison. These days I just care more about whether the daily grind feels manageable than whether there’s a stamina bar or not. They’re all gonna throttle you somehow.
granblue fantasy. yeah good luck with that the grind is insane and guild wars will destroy your sleep schedule. i quit after realizing i was setting alarms for 3am just to do battles because of jp reset times not worth it unless you have no life tbh
definitely GBF. that grind owns your life lol like you know the thanos ‘i am inevitable’ meme? that’s basically your daily/weekly grind schedule in gbf, except way less cool and way more depressing when you realize you’ve been doing the same content for 3 years straight
